Just to elaborate on this...
It appear s that a card will only drop if you haven't picked one up yet. If I kill 10 monsters in one shot, I can get 10 cards. But, once I pick one up, I don;t see that card drop anymore.
Hopefully this works out in a Party. Otherwise, the only way a person could get any card is if they get the killing blow.
