Also in regards to a question asked earlier: yes, I am complaining about the monster book. You shouldn't be able to fill it in a few days or even a week. It should be something you really have to earn.

That said, I think the drop rate previously was a little too low in some areas and I think all boss-type monsters should have a 100% drop rate and if they appear on raids then multiple cards should drop. I also believe monsters need a more moderate drop rate, like John suggested. I feel like some of the red/orange tab monsters had really good drop rates before it was removed (except cynical orange mushroom. pineapple him.) I don't think monster book should be a gimme like everything else in this game. The most fun... no, the only fun I had playing Maple Story was the time that I was really into Monster Book collecting and that's because it was a real achievement in a game that lacks anything of the sort.

I'd prefer either 5 cards with a high drop rate or 1 card with a moderate drop rate.

Kind of contradicting yourself there aren't you? You wanted the cards to be earned, but the bosses to be handed to you? Then anyone with enough HP equips could tag along to any major boss and just get a free card for doing nothing. Personally, I'm glad we're getting the JMS book, I was so jealous ever since they got it. Who cares if it's easier, if we get the dynamic drop table, I'm down.
