How to become popular on southperry?

Someone wrote a blog about this but I can't remember who posted it or when...
I recall most answers said that writting often and being right in those posts gave good reputation, or something like that.
Also, that in controversial threads strong opinions with firm stances would make others notice you.


But, uhmmmm, anyway... what would be the point of being popular?
