Hmmm about your job payment, getting payed a bit less then others who do the same work, can have it's advantages too! 
If your boss wants to get rid of one of his employees to save on costs, people with higher payment are more "usefull" to be kicked out then people who earn less...
Also, if you're getting payed less then others, your boss can't demand too much of you (working overhours). Because if he starts asking too much of you, you could ceise that moment for talking about a higher payment too!
So, about lower payment... it also can have it's advantages!
P.S. About negociating skills and maple, don't forget that maple consists of 95% retards who claim all sorts of prices, just because it's true, because an imaginary lvl 180 said so.... :')
