What a stupidly ignorant statement. Yes she was an addict and an alcoholic. Have you ever been either of those? It's a hell of a thing to overcome. She did not refuse help. She had just got out of rehab 2 months ago. And to say she wasn't a good singer is foolish, she was a wonderful singer and song writer who brought a style all her own.
