HP/MP/Hyper Hound Earrings Untradeable?

Unlike most other "untradable" craftable equips which are untradable upon equip, the stats page for these seems to imply that they start off untradable, so the crafter needs to karma them onto the intended equipper. Can someone confirm or deny? I'd like 200 hp on my bishop, but probably not if it costs platinum karma to get it there.
