Lolwut, in my school they let you (force you, rather) to re-take the module so you finish by the designated 3 years.
Couldn't you ask them to let you take the modules in the second half? Then add it on to your GPA when you retake the exams that correspond to the modules that you took in the first two quarters. You'd still have half a year with nothing scheduled in it, but maybe you'd have something to use the time for by then.
