I never give those who can't form proper sentences the benefit of the doubt; I just assume they're morons and, therefore, incapable of such creative endeavors such as humor.

That in mind, I'm not convinced what he was saying was sarcasm, and, as you are not him, I think it's rather ridiculous that you feel you can claim it to be so.
