Do Mastery Books still drop?

Having recently achieved a level where I can hunt Cerebes for my OS20, I went there. Talking to my friend later, he told me that they (and all the other mobs who dropped mastery books) do not drop these anymore, instead, they all just drop the Mystery Mastery Book. Is this true? :S
