This is how I understood Hime's post as well. Nexon actually listened to all the high-and-mighty QQ-ing how it was now too easy for the rabble to catch up to them.
OR: Maybe they had second thoughts that the event might be a net loss of revenue in the long run.
EditEdit: At least after seeing Hime's post I'm breathing easier that they probably won't delete GM scrolls already obtained.
