I didn't know where to post this but I wanted to tell people a story.
Three years ago I met a wonderful beautiful girl and she is everything I was looking for. There was only one problem..we lived at least 1k miles away. Her in Phili, me in New Orleans. Well that's a problem isn't it..well, that didn't stop us, not at all. To us that was just more of an ambition to try much harder. We talk everyday, literally all day. We had our bumps like every couple except ours seemed a little harder to work out without being able to talk face to face in person together about it. But again, that didn't stop us. We're very happy together and try to do EVERYTHING together. Me teaching her Pokemon and Yu-gi-oh, her teaching me about making tie dye shirts, and telling me about other things she enjoys making. We try not to let anything stop us from doing things. Well as happy as we were, we weren't. Why? Simple, we couldn't hug, kiss, and go on dates like a "normal" couple would(we both aren't "normal" so it fit).
This week however, we finally met up after 3 years and had to BEST time of our entire lives. Finding out we're in love more then we originally were led to believe. We're both so happy with each other and so comfortable and it's just amazing. Right now I feel like there is NOTHING that could make me sad. Well that's not the other exciting news. After both talking to each other, we decided mutually to go steady with each other, and even get engaged. Yes I got her a ring. We decided do get married in a few years but wanted to be fully committed to each other.
Some of you may be wondering why I'm writing this on SP, that I may just be tooting my own horn(our). Well no that's not the reason. I wanted to write this out to tell anyone here on SP, lurker or not, who reads this to say "it is possible." It is. I wrote this to say anyone who does have a online relationship to not give up. It's possible and in a way, it IS better. Maybe not for everyone but for us it was just so much easier once we finally met. I wish everyone who reads this and does have an online relationship good luck and not lose hope that it won't work. It will, it will you just gotta try harder.
