Add in the fact that the security and infrastructure of the game is deteriorating rapidly, and their videos have been getting much less detailed, and you start to get the picture that there're some problems in El Segundo.
For starters, you're assuming the staff that they need is ALL going directly into Maple's team. They could have another game or two that they're lining up and next some extra hands for it.
As far as the less detailed and whatnot, Nexon's always been lazy. This isn't much of a suprise that anything that they try to produce themselves vidya-wise doesn't come close to any expectations we had. Most of the trailers that we've seen before came straight from Korea. It's very rare we get a US based trailer or advertisment on this game. Minus Big Bang and the infamously terrible "I can and it's free" ad campaigns, the US team just doesn't focus on that part of the marketing.
They've had more of a trend where they focus on the elite customer base while they have the attention that Chaos happened to bring. They're sure as hell going to take that chance before the elites happen to quit again.(it's funny how none of these cash-shop sale items are geared towards beginning-mid range players) I really don't have any fears at the moment on how financially well Nexon is doing. They seem to be on top of things.(Financially, as far as technical stuff goes, that's a whole another story.)
