You fail to see the relevance. So I guess everyone who plays MH NEVER ONCE touches MS? Or contributes to MS in any way? You say as if people who play one game can never touch another game. Things learned from a game like MH can easily assist you in making strategies for this game. They have what...thirty players there? You want me to believe that there's absolutely no strategy in there at all? People are just mashing buttons and hoping things happen? That's how most GMS players play, they've said it themselves. Hell, that's how I play MS most of the time. I'm not saying that I myself would ever have the ability to do the Empress, but that's not the point.
If you get thirty players who know exactly what they are doing, and they formulate a plan to exactly time attacks, exactly time skill uses, to exactly time when to do certain things, you can absolutely do better than a group where everyone is just doing their own thing, with no coordination what so ever. That's exactly what they do here. They always do it. They've shown the ability to do it in MH, they can easily do it in MS, where there's significantly less variables to care about.
It's not my fault that GMS has a bugged Empress. Hell, for all we know maybe GMS could have beaten JMS in timing, but you also forget...JMS JUST got Empress. It was two days ago. I highly doubt even if Empress wasn't bugged in GMS, they would have done it in a week, let alone one day after it was released.
MHFO was simply an example of how the Japanese players can create teamwork beyond what you'd possibly expect or even think was possible. I would never believe half the runs I've seen and participated in myself unless I was there to see them. How is MS any different? If you have the people, and they can work together in the amount that the Japanese players have shown they can, they can do these kinds of things. It makes no difference on what game it is, because it's still teamwork. You guys thought Empress was basically impossible, I thought it was impossible to kill a Black Fatalis in 60 seconds. But both are quite possible, and both have been proven by Japanese players.
And sure, I will agree there IS a possibility that they are hackers, but it's so slim it's not even funny. I've never seen a native Japanese player hack. I've never seen any kind of record of it. We see videos and screenshots of Americans, Chinese, and Koreans hacking all the damn time, but I've never seen a Japanese player hack. Ever. And even if you can show me a video or a screenshot of a Japanese player hacking, with absolute certainty that it is a Japanese player, I could show you a hundred more of American/Chinese/Korean hackers for every Japanese hacker you find. Hell, people were flaunting their 15+ star gear when that stuff was going on, the GMS markets are FLOODED with duped items and gear, it's not even funny anymore. The likelyhood that these guys are hackers is just so slim, it's barely possible. So I will say that it is possible, but the chances are so unlikely that it'd mind as well not be possible at all.
Now I am done with this. I'm sick of posting the crap over and over. People will believe whatever they want to believe. If you want to believe they are hackers so that you can say your version is first at killing Empress, do whatever you want. Not like we can stop you, and it's not like it didn't happen for PB (I'm told GMS says they did it first all the time, but it was JMS).
Ok, so what i've read in all of your posts has been, basically, Japanese Elitism. Great, have cultural pride. Just be sure to look outside here and there and see that Japanese people are people, not gods. Ironically, we have people here in America too. Keeping in mind that people are people, and I draw the conclusion that there are Americans that can coordinate and work together to successfully take down difficult bosses.
Now then, with that stated, i'd like to move on. Khaini had a run mere days after Empress was released, I was on it so I would know. We could have, and would have, killed Empress had she not been broken. We had the dps, we had the coordination, we had the teamwork. Why, then, was she not killed? She is broken. To anyone at all that doesn't believe there is a problem with Empress, one of her Instructor's (the mage I believe) summons pies. Pies, like the cake vs pie aniversary event pies. Little things with like 20k hp. I can 100% assure you that pies have nothing to do with dark ereve and the defiled and corrupted Cygnus Empress of the future.
Now then, as said earlier in this thread, the JMS players were kicked out after killing her, but still somehow got loot (i'm guessing auto loot from pets). Speaking from personal experience, having killed every single boss, and every single expedition boss in the entire game besides Empress, I have never been forcefully removed from the boss map nearly instantly after killing it. Never. In fact, with HT, CHT, Zakum and Chaos Zakum, there's a little notice that says we'll be booted after x many minutes, after the boss has been defeated. It makes no sense for Empress to be different, none. There's no notice that says you'll be booted after Pink Bean iirc, and i've killed it over 20 times.
On the issue of hackers and did JMS hack and all that. Were these runners legit? I don't know. I can't know. I'm not making up my mind right now. However, in GMS, hackers basically run the game. There's minimal at best security and almost no to no enforcement on the ground level. Right now, before the game went down for another unscheduled maintenance due to all the hackers, 15+ of the 19 channels in Khaini at Master Death Teddies (monsters that drop Angelic Blessing Recipe) are occupied by hackers. Hackers that aren't bothering to change channels or anything at all. And it's been this way for days. If there were even 1 GM in Khaini, they could literally just go back and forth channels at MDT's and ban hackers left and right. But there isn't a GM, even in the face of blatant hackers. SO! That is the environment that GMS players are seeing and almost becoming used to, as such it makes complete sense for GMS players to question the validity of this JMS run. Because, as in all versions of Maple, there are hackers. JMS included btw.
What I want to see is a guide. Not to prove legitimacy, but for more information. As a prominent bosser in Khaini, i'm always looking for more information or a better technique or strategy (there is some to some bossers) to beat a boss. This is especially applicable for Empress, as there is literally almost no information out there at all on her. Since they were able to beat her, unlike KMS (glitched? idk), I'd like to know how they did it so perhaps we can duplicate their success.
