Ankylosing spondylitis

I was diagnosed with ankylosing spondylitis earlier this year, too. Your case seems much more serious than mine though.

Have you tried Enbrel? If you haven't, you might want to look into it. My rheumatologist said it was very effective at treating the symptoms (not the disease itself, unfortunately). I can't tell you my personal experience with it because I opted not to take it since I didn't feel my symptoms were that intrusive yet.

Anyway, I wish you the best. You seem to have a very supporting family so I'm sure you'll get through this.

I have not tried that. What kind of medication is it? So far we're just doing the treatment of Sulfa and seeing where that takes me.
