I'm not entirely sure how much of the first X games depends on luck, and how much of it depends on skill. Though if you have overwhelming skill, you'll just cream the opposition if you pick the appropriate champ.

EDIT: Here's a solid post explaining the ideas behind why the seasons are doing a soft reset instead of a hard reset (the latter being used so the people it hands concessions to can experience their downfall again).
I believe a large amount of games shows your skill and a small amount like 10-20 just shows luck. You guys will probably not believe this, but my first 3 ranked games all had NOT 1 BUT 2 leavers in them. Ended up at 1100 or so after my first 10 games. A 100 games later I'm at 1500.
Also nocturne is still viable, but not that overpowered anymore after his nerf. A ward counters his ulti range for crying out loud. Also does anyone know if we get a new kayle skin or one of her old ones?
