Come on, seriously, Sarah. Please... For the sake of continuing to use the term "moron" toward people, please consider the fact that Nintendo has completely stopped the production of original Wii Remotes and are now only producing Wii Remote Plus controllers. I do not think they would piss that production down the drain and develop games for the Wii U that will not make use of that product which they put so much money into. They would not go and say, "oh, we're scrapping the Wii Remote Plus idea and going back to the basic Wii Remote motion control ability."

That would be a seriously stupid thing to do for Nintendo. Why would they go back to basic when the newer is better?

Did I call you a moron? No. I called the guy calling people cheap asses for not willingly dishing out $25 for an unproven "great" game and currently useless piece of hardware a moron. It had nothing to do with you.

Nintendo didn't really have a choice but to start including motion plus into new wiimotes after releasing it. You can't say "we can make this hardware better" and then chose not to include it in future updates, haha. That would really make people mad. But developers just don't want to use it, that has nothing to do with Nintendo and they don't really have any control over it. Just because it's there doesn't mean it will be used. And there are still millions of people who bought wii on launch who don't have the wii motion plus, or people who have bought second hand, etc etc. and have never had any reason to. I mean, even in this thread it is pretty evident that there are many people without the accessory or who happen to have it but wouldn't otherwise if a sibling/new controller didn't come with it.

I mean, for example, the Playstation sixaxis is in EVERY controller but is very, very, very rarely used.

Hopefully Nintendo will lower the price before the official release or give a special sale associated with the bundle. Hell, I hope the just give it to us free.

Eh, free is a lot to ask. I wouldn't mind paying $10 for it, but anything more is absurd. $10 for motion plus would put the game at the price of any other console game and therefore not worth complaining about (unless you bought the wii because the games are cheaper.)

$70 after taxes isn't bad. Anything beyond that is absolutely too much to ask though, and millions of people don't have that accessory.
