Empress or PB should drop this recipe, not zak, and at a better rate. If that was the case I wouldn't be so pissed about GMS missing out on this event. The best rewards should be for beating a really hard boss a few times, not beating an easy one a few thousand.
Appropriate risk/reward is constructive game design. Increasingly obscene rarity encourages people to cut corners.
What the dark angelic bless ring opportunity would have rewarded was a lot of ore mining on mules, or FM foresight. Are you suggesting that restricting rewards to repeatedly grinding at one location is preferable to that? Especially since a lot of ore mining on mules and market forces changing FM to reflect the new crafting system was invariably in our future anyway.
Basically, you'd be saying there should only be one way to play, and it should be the most boring and arbitrary possible. I tend to disagree.

Not everything should be served up on a silver platter and the game started going down hill the second everyone and their mother had a zakum helm. As long as there's a 0.001% chance it will drop, it's fine. If only one person has it by the end of next year, then great. Just hope you're that one person.Wait, aren't you the one who militantly hates botting/exploiting/duping? You realize the benefit of doing those things increases the more Nexon relies on rarity to cover bad game design, right?
