I spent days farming this sh`it. Days. I was excited to make my god damn ring. Very excited, in fact it was one of the most exciting part of professions for me. I don't care about Imps, I don't care about Shoulderpads which are so god damn common it isn't even fun. I don't care about Smithing and I don't care about alchemist. I simply wanted to make my god damn ring. That's all I wanted. I even planned to spend some NX, just what Nexon wanted, to get my god damn ring. Which I will never get.
Also, for the sake of your misunderstanding, my entire anticipation and excitement for Chaos didn't depend on this ring. Professions main attraction for me was this event, sure I might not care about making other things but there were still some excitement left for it, albeit not much. Another thing you're ignorant about is stating that it's one recipe, when it's in fact two. Not that I care, just pointing it out.
