Spider abilities are more fun. Flying is really kind of boring compared to climbing up stuff and then swinging/jumping/etc.
I hate "fighting my friends" ideas, because it goes from being a fair fight to a completely internal conflict over whether or not to wreck their faces. But considering the entire goal of this arc is to return Ichigo's shinigami powers, it wouldn't surprise me if right before he gets killed by Chad and Orohime (because he won't hurt them because they're his friends, unless I'm completely wrong which would be awesome) he talks with Zangetsu and he becomes a human with hollow-shinigami-fullbring powers. Which will be fun.
I bet after this arc Aizen will *yawn* have taken over Soul Society.
