Uhmmmm:
- External fans don't cool a laptop at all
- Laptops can only cool when their air-INTAKE isn't blocked by cloth like sheets in the bed
- How old is the laptop?
- Mini refrigerator might be a hassle in a bed, unless it's somehow locked to the laptop itself
I would advise:
- Try cleaning the laptop fan internally + apply new cooling paste (Arctic MX-4 preferred) - Don't start if you never done this before
- Try preventing air-INTAKE block by cloth
- Get a small airco, and let it blow towards you and your laptop
