Lol@ the amount of butthurt in this thread.
That's fine, Fable isn't for everyone and stop letting people decide what you should play, play Infinite Undiscovery yourself and decide. 68/100 on Metacritc honestly isn't that bad especially when it's a bargin game now at $18.
Castle Crasher (2 year later), Dead Rising 2: Case Zero, Hydro Thunder, Castlevania HD, LIMBO, Marble Blast Ultra, Monday Night Combat, 'Splosion Man, Shadow Complex, Torchlight, A Kingdom for Keflings, Blazing Birds. That's only the list of crap that I own, and there's plenty of other stuff. And don't play the "They're on the PC" card, we're only talking about the Xbox and Playstation 3.
You're entitle to you opinion, as am I. I like it, so do others.
No idea, just stating an exclusive that you might possibly like if you ever got one.
Ninty Nine Nights and Kameo
From what I've heard, N3 isn't horrible and Kameo was a good launch title.
Okay
Your entire last paragraph is a joke.
Honestly, it's not that big of a deal. Out of the 12 games I have, 3 have multiple discs. Two have 2 and one has three. Not that big of a deal.
That's fine. But really, I already have an Xbox and paying for LIVE isn't that big of a deal for me, and many. Also, you don't have to SCOUR the internet. Typing in Amazon, and then looking for the card is not that difficult. And for many that already visit places like Slickdeals, it's no extra work. Microsoft is a business, and a successful one that that. They have costs to keep this service up, and I'm more than happy to pay for it. Also, your analogy doesn't work because it doesn't cost the store anything to let the customers in, while it does cost money for Microsoft to host their service. Not to mention, I'm paying for stability. How long was the PSN down for again? Well, in the 4 years I've owned an Xbox it's gone down for maybe 48 hours total? I'll take a $35, stable service over a free one that I have to worry about my credit card information getting stolen from. On top of that, everybody thinks they're entitled to compensation for a free service after it goes down, which I think is an absolute joke.
That's you take on this. Not buying one game and renting it instead is that big of a deal to you? Most people wouldn't even be affected by this statement.
It is, to me.
in conclusion: I've read your posts, and I know you like jRPG's and stuff. I know you like you PS3. I didn't start a console war with my post, I was just pushing you in the direction of the the stuff that we have and you don't. Whether you buy into it or not, I don't care, but you don't need to sound like such a bitch when replying to post.

Sarah Wrote:"Arcade"? Most games that are available on XBL are also available on the PSN. Plus the PSN has lots of amazing exclusives. I think saying the XBL arcade is better and anyone who says differently is "in denial" is pretty ignorant and possibly deluded. I don't know much about the online experience but I do know that I don't really care about multiplayer in the first place so it really isn't a selling point for me.

Sarah Wrote:Also also isn't Banjo 3 (the only exclusive one) completely different from the other two? I mean, from what I've seen it's basically a glorified "Tycoon" game, now. Am I wrong?
No idea, just stating an exclusive that you might possibly like if you ever got one.

Okay
Your entire last paragraph is a joke.
Sarah Wrote:It's not about having to get off my "fat ass", it's about it being a constant annoyance. Most games that have multiple discs make you go back and forth between discs for certain parts. We live in 2011, this shouldn't even be an option. What's worse is that you made it sound like having to change discs EVERY THREE HOURS is somehow a joy or, you know, not a complete turn off. Which it is. It doesn't matter who you are, who the pineapple wants to change a disc every 3 hours? Seriously.
Honestly, it's not that big of a deal. Out of the 12 games I have, 3 have multiple discs. Two have 2 and one has three. Not that big of a deal.
Sarah Wrote:Not wanting to pay for an XBOX live account is a matter of principle--I could easily afford it. But, I can get the same service on the PS3 for free, there's no damn reason for Microsoft to be charging and obscene amount like $50 a year ($35 apparently if you SCOUR THE INTERNET FOR A DEAL.) Especially if they're not giving you anything good for buying it besides the ability to compare your stats with friends. You should either be paying for the account and unlimited access to free games or have a free account with pay-to-play access to games. That's all there is to it. You know how much of that money game developers see? None. They give away the service to their customers for free and Microsoft puts up a toll booth before you can access it. That's pretty pineappleing scummy. It's like, I don't know, your favourite author/musician giving away autographs for free and then the book/CD store charging you an entry fee.

Sarah Wrote:I think that that final sentence is the worst, though. A person should pay for a service and rent games to use with that service? Do you not see how ridiculous the very idea of that is? We should sacrifice something permanent for something temporary? I mean, it's not like that $50/35 is going to last you forever--it's gone in a year. At least when you buy a "pomegranatety" game you can still play it in a year, or ten years.
That's you take on this. Not buying one game and renting it instead is that big of a deal to you? Most people wouldn't even be affected by this statement.
