I have both a Xbox360 and a PS3. I had the Xbox360 about 1.5 years before the PS3 because I wanted to play Halo 3 and I knew that RE5 was on the horizon. Eventually I remembered MGS4 was coming out so I bought a PS3.
Now that I have owned both consoles for a while, I find that you tend to gravitate towards one console most of the time, buying all the multi platform titles for it, and using the other for exclusives, which for the Xbox360 I have a good amount (PS3 is my main, 360 is just for exclusives if you couldn't figure it out). Sarah in your case the only thing this thread has really done is cement that Vesperia is pretty much the only exclusive you want on the 360, which IMO means you should just not get a 360, it'll be a waste of money. Unless you REALLY want to play vesperia. Also, not exactly ideal but you could buy a 360 and Vesperia and then sell i to a friend for like ~70-80% of the price after you beat Vesperia, because it would be a pretty much new console.
