By your own logic Sarah asking for life sentences isn't harsh because accounts are infinite, unlike human lives of which you only get one.
Rick is right on this one Eos, accounts may be infinite but the specific character is not. Once it's permed you cannot have the same sentimental value with another acc. The ign is gone, the time the effort and the bond with your pixelated character is broken as well. Now it may sound corny and nerdy but look around you people obviously care very much for there maplestory characters and take pride in them so the comparison of a life sentence and a ban are level in this matter, you get one.
