People died in every channel (which is why they're now locked) because they didn't think Capt. Latanica would be a hard boss. Capt. Lat may be a pansy pushover for high levels, but anyone under 130 (for sure) is going to have trouble or simply get their butt handed to them. Capt. Lat spams summons which allows him more time to get attacks off on you. His attacks do upwards of 3.7k-3.9k, and they aren't very easy to avoid.

I think you can figure out why people die.
