And that doesn't make their sound not generic. The late 90s isn't exactly the birth of whatever genre you want to call this. Hell, Post-hardcore was already going strong at that point. I'm not saying it's bad, it isn't it is good and well performed. Still very generic. Maybe some random saxophone could've set them apart?

Granted, it's more noisecore and the recording is not high quality, but it's unique!

That's such a strange descriptor, though. "This post-hardcore band is too much like a post-hardcore band". Though I tend not to listen to musicians and think that I would prefer them to use glockenspiels and oboes.

I saw The Plot to Blow Up the Eiffel Tower in '05 with The Blood Brothers. They were great.
