Stuff is forever blue until scrolls are thrown on it? That is like 9x stats above average.

They re-did scroll bonuses, you know, it's probably a consequence of that. If DEF, and HP, and all those good things were worth the same when calculating item colors, I'm pretty sure everyone would have gold items or better.
