They uploaded the patch 3 days early with "known issues" in it, too, instead of trying to resolve them during this time. Some of these issues are mere text, that could be edited in a couple of minutes.
Guess they just all went on vacation or something for the past 3 days, to prepare for the undoubtedly busy weekend of emergency patches we know we're going to have.
