My mom recently got herself a desktop for her room, and so we've been trying to get it connected to the internet, but I can't seem to figure out how.
We have a desktop (this one) that's obviously connected to the internet, through a router, but with this new desktop on the other side of the house, a cable is impractical. So anyways, is there a way to get it connected to this router/computer and the internet without having to buy any special adapters?
Both desktops are running on Windows XP, and the router is by Netgear, if that makes any difference.
I'm clearly not too great with computers, so some simple explanations would be highly appreciated.
