Of course he is subdued. Know why I know that? The dude who managed to destroy and reassemble an entire island didn't simply kill everybody who opposed him by destroying the landmasses where the majority of his enemies are coming from.
Subdued=/= killed or captured, but something is stopping the dude with island destroying powers from simply murdering the entire population, thus, he is subdued.

That's a pretty big reach, haha. It's more likely that IGN is being fed incorrect information by Nexon who don't know anything about their game.
