Okay.. if they actually meant to use the Black Mage as a character who'd never appear in the game and would be used to hype new updates or explain the changes, well.. I am really disappointed.
Until proven wrong, Black Mage has NOT been subdued AT ALL. We've never faced him (and I doubt we will soon), and he hasn't even made his appearance yet. He just.. proved his enormous power by changing the whole Maple World with Big Bang. How is that subduing him? We just passively had to accept his power, which just shows how strong he his and how subdued WE are to him. :f6:
