Maybe that girl wanted a baby, but realized through experience the negative concepts of having a child and couldn't handle it. There's nothing you can really do but allow them to self destruct.
Since the general focus of the education of reproduction only contain biological based teachings, I'd propose some form of financial education or aid on the matter. I mean the reason most teenagers don't have cars in high school (depending on the school of course) are because they can't afford one. It doesn't cost a dime to make a baby, just to raise it and most people tend not to have financial responsibility until they're well into adulthood (sometimes that's not even true).
