Let me ask you this, what makes you assumed she wasn't introduced to such priveledges but simply didn't take them seriously? I don't know if you've been in the shoes of a teacher but there's only so much you can do before just facing defeat.
Maybe that girl wanted a baby, but realized through experience the negative concepts of having a child and couldn't handle it. There's nothing you can really do but allow them to self destruct.
