I don't mean to say that Socialistic health care will necessarily hurt the economy. I just don't think socialism solves the biggest problem: cost. The US economy is still relatively fine with our horrible health care system. I'm against the insurance model because it raises costs because it discourages competitive pricing which is one of the main components of a successful capitalist economy. I also don't like that socialism allows the government to force citizens to do more things a significant amount do.
