Tower range is 850, give or take 50. I'm more inclined to believe it's a crucial metric concerning probable champion positions during laning phase.

Where did I explicitly say that you were the only one who thinks that? It would be nice if you could state the source where Riot said this. I can remember many months ago that it was said that Riot balanced around Annie, when Morello was relatively new to the scene.

You better come up with better arguing/wording sense. You want to know why Tanky DPS have GAP CLOSERS? Because of KOG'MAW. Owaitaminute! That ain't entirely right! You'll notice it's a common tool for melee champions, as opposed to just Blitzcrank only, because that's one way how melee champs get an edge over ranged champions. It kinda boggles my mind why you'd use Ashe in that example, when Kog'Maw is capable of staying even further away than Ashe while outputting more damage than Ashe. This is barring a jungle fight obviously, but even then, superior positioning and extra caution can create similar distancing conditions.
After a while, you'd probably realize that just because the "community" agrees on something, doesn't necessarily mean it's true. Hell, even Riot makes mistakes. I shall pretend that you already know the context in this next example, since you seem to like being a spectator and speculator more than an actual actor. HotShotGG posted a short guide on Irelia, which got downvoted by the handful. People laughed, some Rioter (I think it was Morello, but I could be wrong) said he/she thought Irelia was in a balanced spot, typical mess of shyt ensues. It's only a few months afterwards did it get upvotes. Further proof that HSGG was actually right about Irelia was that Riot has made statements about the fact that she was flawed and OP. But in the meantime during the life of HSGG's thread, before the patch changes to Irelia, nothing changed about her, yet the opinion of the "community" was swayed.
Last but not least, I like arguing for the sake of logic.
