Want to make more outrageous statements of stupidity? It's true that Ashe is a staple classic carry champ, but she has been nerfed in the past. Specifically, from the time I've began playing:
--Enchanted Crystal Arrow used to have a much shorter range required for maximum stunnage, and a point-blank shot would still stun for .75 seconds or so. Now, the range required for maximum stunnage is greater than half the map (not sure entirely, lol), and point-blank shot stun is non-existent (it would still interrupt though).
--Volley used to have a range of 1300 and fire 9 arrows. Now it has a range of 1200 and fires 7 arrows. You might think "oh a 100 range decrease, not much", but it made a lot of difference.
--[minor] Nerfs to her base AD and Armor. Maybe MS, but I'm not sure.
--[minor] Frost Shot lvl 5 slow changed from 38% to 35%. This matches Volley's slow values.
These are not taking into consideration indirect buffs/nerfs, such as Frozen Mallet having a 40% slow effect for melee champs instead of 30% for everyone.
On the buffs side, her Plentiful Bounty got remade into Hawkshot. It was like Hawkshot, but without the active. And it had Teemo's ult icon o.O
