2. Like I said, but you didn't understand. "Best in the world" is the title name of a country that is the current world champion. Bruins could now be called "best in the NHL".

I only stated that we were "best in the world" a.k.a "world champions" and you jumped on me about how Canadians are better than Finnish players, you would win if you cared about world cup... Do you think we had all our NHL players in World cup? No we didn't.

It's fine. If you choose to be obstinate and blind in your Canadian nationalism, that's fine by me. Truth hurts sometimes. I'm sorry. Keep being deluded by how awesome you think your country's hockey is.

Truth is that you completely misunderstood what I said and started to brag about how Canada is the best Ice Hockey country in the world. And btw, I can ensure you that there is no "best country", because certainly at least countries like Sweden, USA, Czech and Russia have the right to think the same.

1. I never said when Canada won the World Championship.
2. So what's the title of the winner of the World Cup of hockey? Aren't they the "Best in the world" too? Since both championships hold the same title, then shouldn't we look at when they last played? The last time the two teams played was at the World Cup of Hockey, and Canada won. So wouldn't the winner between the two "Bests in the World" be the ultimate best in the world?

You had Selanne, Koivu, Kipper, Salo, Lehtinen all there.

Also, we are as good as best in the world. No one even cares about your national leagues here (outside the players).

Though even though I never said it, I'll talk with you about these other's nation's claim as the best:

Russia: Lost 7-3 to Canada...Went 0-7-1 against Canada in the 2007 Super Series.
USA: Lost in Gold Medal game to Canada...twice.Canada also beat the US at the world juniors 5 times in a row before they won once, but still got second the last two years.
Czech Republic: Finished 7th two out of the last 3 Olympics with a Bronze in between.
