MapleStory Chaos: Profession Recipe Guide

It's nearly impossible to get dark angelic ring recipe from monsters. The only way to obtain this recipe is from specific event that character levels up jewel crafting to LV10(Max Level) in 15 days.
I hope you have been ready for that event. If not, you still have the chance to gather tons of plates for that.
Every character can get that reward if he completes the event.

My suggestion:
prepare the following plates:
Lv1 : 7 Opal or Silver
Lv2 : 12 Orihalcon or Amethyst
Lv3: 21 Steel or Sapphire
Lv4 : 81 Sapphire
Lv6: 388 Gold

Would using a combination of Gold plates and Topaz jewels yield the same exp rate; and that you'd finish within the same amount of time if you were to use 388 gold plates?
Ex. 200 gold plates and 188 topaz jewels?
