In the end it's just about people's opinion... if they think it sucks, good for them. If they think it's cool, good for them too.
If it's just an excuse to bash nexon, who cares?
To me, it's cool that they give awards for that. Who cares if the rewards "suck", they're still being recognized for being cool members of the maple community.
And actually, the rewards don't suck to me... they're not the best thing either but they're pretty cool. It proves that the game doesn't have to be about overpowered in game items. (They might've chosen those rewards to make people complain less. Imagine if the rewards were op in game items...)
