I made my Archer in April I think (mainly because I missed having an archer). I see an assload of rangers everywhere at newties. It's kind of lame that archers are bandwagoned to all hell but that's how pretty much things work. Sins got bandwagoned for their killing prowess pre-4th job, and Bishops are even more bandwagoned than archers (even though I lol'd at Gen 30 being god knows how much now) due to their efficiency and killing prowess.
Yes the bandwagoning has affected me, and from this thread I can see I'm not the only one. Bow prices are ridiculously high (I've spent about 200 million trying to scroll bows -_-; ) and not to mention SE20 is just outrageous. I maintain a love/hate relationship with my archer, I'm sure some of you do. Love SE, hawk, and all of the other nifty things about archers, but hate the lack of HP, and mobility, and not being able to freeze
(Hating on Snipers and their freeze
).
I'm sure most people will get sick of their bowmasters unless they're either super godly, have enough HP to go bossing (mainly HT) or just love being an archer.
As for me, I may quit him again one day and work on another class because I can't stand being on one character for an extended period of time, not because it sucks to train, but it just drives me nuts.
