maybe i shouldn't have mentioned point and click since you strongly feel that dragon nest and WoW have the same targeting systems..would you say a game like Gears of War has the same targeting system as WoW?
Dragon Nest and Vindictus are the same but they are different enough that Dragon Nest is more closer to the traditional JRPG(i.e you have a hotkey bar with skill trees and what not) while Vindictus possibly feels like a western RPG(you only have two action buttons but different combinations of these two buttons performs different skills). It's really just preference on what you like to play with.
A full action type mmorpg hasn't been done very often before so my point still stands on that dragon nest is one of the few 3D action mmorpgs and is probably its main selling point when you compare dragon nest and WoW(and its clones). What do I feel about Dragon Nest? Yeah, it'll be overrated and it's really not that amazing. It's also obviously not the most unique experience you get in a game but when you look at Dragon Nest and all the other MMORPGs out there, I can at least appreciate what it's trying to do.
edit: i give up
Dusk Wrote:I haven't played Vindictus, but if this game is like Vindictus but simply in a different style, who the pineapple cares? Why do people continue making Call of Duty games and Battlefield games if they're the same game but in a different style? A more recent MMORPG example is Rift and WoW. Why play Rift when you can play WoW? Who cares about Rift?
