Is anyone else having a hard time with the dews on regular Adventurers?

of all the quests, cube slimes was my favorite. even though i was scared as fk after the 15 hours of hunting the first set took

I'm more surprised the drop rate wasn't way worse. I honestly was expecting to spend AT LEAST a week just to get half way or a little past that point, even with x2.
