Original League of Legends (LoL) Thread

I couldn't post it in the relevant group thread, so I'm just going to dump my Katarina build here under a big spoiler and link to it.

Hope you don't mind me copying your format, Derosis.

Also, given that my mastery choice/build choice varies greatly between games, this is going to be a horrific wall of text. ;x

 Katarina Build

Ability Sequence:

Q-E-Q-W-Q-R-Q-E-Q-E-R-E-E-W-W-R-W-W

Summoner Spells:

Cleanse
Ignite/Exhaust/sometimes Teleport (depends on personal preference)

I find Cleanse to be very underrated. Not only do I find it to be a better lifesaver than Flash, but I find a lot of offensive power with it as well; particularly allowing you to ult when your enemy thinks you're disabled, or in baiting an enemy to overcommit to fighting you because they think they've got you with a stun/snare etc.

The last slot is completely up to you. Ignite will net you more kills early game, Exhaust will completely ruin AD carries in fights and Teleport is great against teams with high mobility (split pushers) or if you're in a lane that can harass you easily.

 Itemization vs. a balanced or AD heavy team

Rejuvenation Bead & 6 Health Potions
Hextech Gunblade (Revolver first)
Mercury Treads or Ionian Boots (despite what you may think, cooldown reduction is very powerful on Katarina because her abilities have no costs keeping her in check)
Warden's Mail
Rabadon's Deathcap
Randuin's Omen (use the active just before ulting)
Hextech Gunblade (or Abyssal Scepter if you need MR)
Hextech Gunblade

 Itemization vs. a heavy AP team

Regrowth Pendant and 1 Health Potion
Hextech Gunblade
Mercury Treads or Ionian Boots
Negatron Cloak
Rylai's Crystal Scepter
Rabadon's Deathcap
Force of Nature
Hextech Gunblade (Cutlass first)

 9/21/0 Masteries (Recommended)

This is what I go with most games; the defensive power is a lifesaver early game and 130 second cooldown Cleanse with Willpower is REALLY strong.

I wouldn't recommend going with this, because most of the masteries in utility involve Mana and therefore are useless to Katarina and you end up being forced to dump points into the first tier to get Presence of the Master.
