Einstein theorized the laser in 1918, but it wasn't until later scientists added on to that, and made it happen for real, that it happened. Both parties got credit, and sometimes the latter got more credit. See the analogy?
No, I don't. Sony didn't "make it happen", anyone with a basic understanding of 3D, like I said before, could do this themselves and have been doing it. You realize all Sony is doing there is, in basic terms, switching out the lens so one player only sees the Left image while the other player sees the Right? Except they're making you pay for $100+ glasses to do this? You could just go snag some crappy plastic 3d shades you have lying around and skip the bullpomegranate.
