It's what puts me off from online gaming. If a group of people that don't know each other play/do something together, obviously there's going to be squabbles. If there's a clear-cut objective for them all to accomplish the likelihood of someone screwing things up lessen, but are still there.
I'm more annoyed at all of these multiplayer games in general, where online interactivity trumps aspects of the single player experience, or single-player is mainly for unlocking stuff for multiplayer.
