Fairy Tail Thread (Spoilers)

So in other words, your complaint is that instead of doing what happened, and making use of established plot elements (i.e. the tree had absorbed the magic of all the fairy tail mages on the island, it still had erza under its protection, confirmed by azuma, so he couldn't have killed her regardless, at least for the moment, and that it could make mages bearing the fairy tail mark under its influence stronger, we just saw it doing so as erza imagining her friends pushing her on.) they should just do the easily as common timeskip crap that every big shonen manga is doing or has done.

It could defintely have done without the gerard bit though. And this weeks and last should have been one chapter. But theres nothing wrong or made up plotwise that wasn't established before it happened.

Azuma was draining down the magic power of the whole island and fairy tail members, and then he used that magic power in one big attack against Erza. I guess it makes sense that the guild magic powers revealed against Azuma and powered up Erza.

I'm not criticizing the way Erza won, I'm critizing the fact they are all winning despite it seeming Grimoire Hearts was a superior guild. It is like Satelite said: Natsu won by the will of protecting Makarov, Juvia won by the will of proctecting Grey, Loki won by the will of protecting Lucy, Erza won by the will to protect them all and so on. It would have been far more interesting to see Fairy tail take a time out to grow their strength, I'm not talking about years or even months. Or they could have developed things in any other way, other than Fairy Tail winning through the strengh of their friendship.

This isn't over though. Hades could turn into Aizen and kill all the kins for failing on their duty, then take Zeref himself and scape away along Bluenote.
