Casual lunch or all-out dinner for a first date?

Oh they're not getting me down, I'm just annoyed at how many people are telling me basically how easy it should be to tell her. It's not...for me at least.

She told me something along the lines of "Oh, I can't, I really need to concentrate on studying this weekend. Shouldn't you be studying too?!?"
The conversation ended with a couple of "good lucks".

Why don't you two study together? Then at least you'd still be spending time with her.
