His passive does give him bonus health per 10 mana(number might be wrong but you get the idea) so banshees, frozen heart and RoA are all very good. But dont let his passive deter you from getting force of nature/sunfire/omen. Just make sure you are getting what works best vs the enemy team.
Ah okay. I will give him a try in a Co-Op vs AI game sometime. Is is OK to build a couple of AP items on him?
