Again, it's not something that someone would look down upon. Rather something that's ignorable. However, like your attitude on this matter, which is really annoying, it's apparently something you like, so I am not going to look down on you for it.
And, to a casual gamer, Maplestory has had a lot of enjoyable features for my friends, it was the social experience that counted more than Nexon's incompetence, most games these days suck. They're just graphically enhanced games that you can beat in 5 hours and never touch again.
EDIT: And for the matter, there are quite a few people out there with foot fetishes.
