As a temporary workaround, I'll suggest using imo for your msn needs.
From what I've read, there are a few quick fixes that might or might not work for your case:
- Double checking the clock time/date (this actually screwed up my aunt's web explorer some time before, so don't make assumption and rule it out)
- Clearing temp files (probably CCleaner will wipe enough stuff)
- Trying a deep uninstallation (I forgot the program you can use for that, but you can look it up)
- Stopping proxies (which I doubt you're using)
- Fixing registries manually. I believe CCleaner also offers an option to clean up your registries. I'm not sure it's safe/effective, but give it a try if you're frustrated enough.
