Removing/Nerfing Onyx Apples-How would it effect the game?

Sure some prices would go up, but really how many people don't already max out the stats of their items with scrolls?

And doesn't an apple stack even more atk on top of that?

Doing it would take longer, sure, but that doesn't really limit howw many runs can be done,

There is an awful lot of time difference between an hour and a half, and 3-4 hours. We can get ~2 runs in the time it takes other versions to do 1 run.

(That's more of a personal thing, I think buying boss equips ruins the whole point of having them in the game at all because they become less of a status symbol.)

What good does that do now? Everyone still has them, regardless of whether or not apples are removed/ nerfed now.
